Today marks the final countdown, we are having the 8th and final consortium meeting in Brussels, hosted at ICLEI Brussels office. We’re excited to reunite and discuss the results achieved throughout our project, sharing valuable lessons learned from the cities of Rotterdam, Valencia, Ljubljana and Sant Cugat. Our Project Officer, Christophe Milin, joins us, bringing additional perspectives from other OSS initiatives. As the EU and Member States prepare to implement the recast EPBD, our work with OSS examples becomes even more crucial for shared learning.
Our greatest achievement isn’t (just) the homes renovated during the project, but mainly the services and network collaborations established. These efforts have already been embraced by wider networks at local, regional, and national levels, promising further impact in the coming years. Stakeholders involved in OSS recognize the added value of Integrated Home Renovation Services (IHRS) due to their significant leverage factor in spurring investments in home renovations.
We are looking forward to further exchanges today and most importantly: tomorrow.
