As part of the Save the Homes 2nd consortium meeting, we hosted a joint workshop with the Interreg 2 Seas Triple-A project and H2020 Opengela project.

Dr Erwin Mlecnik shared the insights and lessons learnt of Triple A project and showed several experiences with their pop-up consultancy centres in Belgium and the Netherlands. Opengela project coordinator, Andoni Hidalgo Simón shared their project OSS experiences done in two neighborhoods in Bilbao and Eibar where targeting vulnerable groups. Kristina Klimovich concluded the session by sharing insights into Opengela business model as also main lessons learnt when it comes to financing such type of programs.

The sessions were followed by a very interesting Q&A session. Since our project is still at its development phase, these projects explanations and further insights were very timely. Shared lessons can strengthen our current plans and some of the given suggestions only confirmed we are already taking the steps in the right direction.

We can not thank enough Erwin, Andoni and Kristina for their valuable contributions. We hope this fantastic session was just a starting point for many more fruitful knowledge exchanges.
