Currently, GNE is working together with Olot, a Catalan municipality, and the Spanish region of the Basque Country to set-up local “One-Stop-Shop (OSS)” programs as pilot projects for a planned national expansion under the auspices of the EuroPACE Horizon 2020 project. GNE Finance designed and deployed home-based financing, an innovative financing attached to the property and not an owners in Spain. This work will inform the company’s involvement in Sav€ the Homes project and allow GNE Finance to build upon the lessons learned from these two pilots.
GNE Finance brings its expertise, track-record and network to promote, structure, finance and manage clean energy projects. GNE Finance supports a strong cooperation between the public and private sectors to deploy highly effective solutions that otherwise would not have been implemented due to lack of funds or investments and debt constraints and/or other existing barriers.
